HIV/AIDS can be influented by several thing, one of them is free sex activity. unfortunatelly, part of them do not too care about the worst effects may be got by them by doing this activity. and i guess -esspecially in the developed contry- only a little part of them who really know about the effects, so then they try to prevent it by applying such manner, by using condom for example.

according to several research to this subject, condom can not be trusted for preventing HIV/AIDS infection. and most of our society have considered this way as very effective way to prevent it. so, by this article i just want to give you information about it, in case you do not get it yet.

some research which have been done such as:

• WHO Director General Hiroshi Nakajima (1993) states that the effectiveness of condoms is doubtfull.

• Statement of J. Mann (1995) from the Harvard AIDS Institute stating that the security level of condom only seventy percent.

• Research carried out by Carey (1992) from the Division of Physical Science, Rockville, Maryland, USA, found the fact that HIV can penetrate a condom. 89 condoms from the review (which is outstanding for society) that there is a leakage of 29, or in other words condom leakage level reaches thirty percent.

• In the Asia-Pacific AIDS conference in Chiang Mai, Thailand (1995), reported that condom use is not properly secured.

• there is a pore with a diameter of 1 / 60 micron in the circumstances does not stretch, and when in the stretch, wide pore reaches ten times. While the size of the HIV virus have diameter 1 / 250 micron. Thus, the HIV virus can freely penetrate the condom.

• Customer's Laporang Report Magazine (1995) states that the examination with the electron microscope show that pore of condoms is ten times bigger than the HIV virus.

• M. Potts (1995), President of Family Health International, one of the creators recognize a condom, "We can not tell the people how far condoms can protect to someone. For, who has entered in a high risk life (sex and prostitution-free), to use condoms has same meaning with installing belt to his neck. "

• V. Cline (1995), Psychology professor Uttah University, United States, affirming the belief to young people on sexual safety associated with the use of condoms is very mistaken. If young people believe that they are safe with condoms from HIV / AIDS or other venereal disease, it means they got the wrong way.

• AIDS Experts, R. Smith (1995), after many years following the threat of AIDS and condom use, criticize those who have spread the "safe sex" with the use of condoms as a way "to invite the same with death." Next, he provides that the opinion of the spread of HIV / AIDS can be prevented by avoiding sex outside of marriage.

• In Indonesia in 1996 ago, condoms were imported from Hong Kong were drawn from the circulation because fifty percent of them is leak.

• Research conducted by Prof.. Dr. Biran Effendi (2000) states that the failure rate of condoms in Family Planning to reach twenty percent. Results of this study support the statement of Prof.. Dr. Haryono Suyono (1994) that the condom is designed for Family Planning and not to prevent HIV / AIDS.

• Can be supposed that the sperm size as orange, while the size of HIV / AIDS such as the size of the point. Thus, it can be concluded that the failure of condoms for family planning programs reach only twenty percent, especially for HIV / AIDS, it will be greater level of failure.

so that, we have to know about it, and try to get away from the thing lead us to HIV/AIDS.
